NOISE ART SPACE

Tuaca bar crawl promo for the Body Art Ball

MARCH 27, 2011

Noise Art Space is a new gallery in Scottsdale. Gallery co-owner Gunner Williams produced this art piece based on an imaginary tequila label called Day of the Dead Tequila. Gunner brought me on-board to expand the promotion of this gallery exhibition with a concept where the tequila label that takes on a life of it's own and sends an evil minion to kill it's creator. Williams' originally envisioned a simple Day of the Dead face paint and some simple skeleton bones on the arms, but I was able to work with model Trisha Youkhana to make it look a little more like a full bodypainting. Instead of going full tilt into the horror and gore side of the killing, Gunner chose to use light blue paint instead of red for the pouring blood. Photographer and videographer Robert Ciolino was there to document the process and created an awesome time-lapsed film of the bodypainting that was done on-site at Noise Art Space.
