ARTnews Magazine - March 2003. Two-page advertisement that includes two models that I bodypainted all white with black barcodes on their torsos. The ad was for Tonnesen, an artist who was to be appearing at a New York art show. |

944 Magazine - January 2003. Representatives of 944 were on hand at my live bodypainting demonstration at The Paper Heart Gallery. This issue includes a brief article and on of my photographs of model Ann Lieb with a Gibson Les Paul painted on her. |

Razor Magazine-January 2003. Razor Magazine held a series of summer parties and I was called upon to bodypaint some of the Razor Girls for the events. This issue includes a two-page spread advertisement for upcoming RAZOR LOUNGE parties and two of my bodypaintings are displayed in the ad. |

Playtime Magazine - October 2002. This issue contained a very nice article about me and my artform by writer Leia Stewart. Along with the article they included four of my bodypaintings that loosely fit the "Halloween" motif. This was the first time that my name was mentioned on the cover of a magazine. |

944 Magazine - September 2002. Opium Nightclub in Scottsdale had an advertisement in this issue that featured the two bodypainted lions from the Razor Magazine party. One of the lions is Blanche Spaulding who is also the main model in the ad without the bodypaint. |

MYSTIQUE MAGAZINE - Greenawalt has been featured as artist of the day at www.mystique-magazine.com numerous times including 10/17/01, 10/28/01, 11/25/01, 12/24/01, 3/24/02, 5/5/02, 6/9/02, 6/17/02, 8/3/02, 9/7/02 and 12/21/02. The caption read, "Phoenix-based body artist Mark Greenawalt has turned some of the most beautiful models in the southwest into living canvases. By painting direclty on the skin, Greenawalt's work treads the line between clothed and nude to produce stimulating images." |

The Republic ranks 15th among U.S. dailies with a daily circulation of 440,000 and a Sunday circulation of 550,000. It's the state's largest newspaper, reaching 1.5 million readers per week.
