Hello and welcome to my "Metal Shop" of fine art photography printed in high resolution on metal prints.

Over the past couple of decades I've taken thousands of photographs of a wide variety of subjects and I've hand picked some of my "greatest hits" below for your consideration. The native 4X6 aspect ratio of my camera sensor led me to offer two standard sizes of 20"X30" and the larger 24"X36" and my introductory pricing for these open edition sizes is $600 and $800 respectively (plus shipping and tax). Other images of mine not shown may be available upon request and larger sizes will be treated as limited editions for private collections. Other upgrades available are framing, acrylic prints, and backlit photo boxes.

SOUTHWEST SERIES

Horseshoe Bend

The Colorado River meanders through this canyon that is aptly named Horseshoe Bend. It's located just south of Page, Arizona and there is a 1/2-mile hike up the hill to reach this overlook. This image is available as an open edition 24" X 36" metal print.

A Fleeting Moment of Tranquility, Sedona, Arizona

A Fleeting Moment Of Tranquility - Snow fall in Sedona is not common and definitely doesn't last long. To see the white dusting of snow on the colorful red rocks completely transforms the scenic aesthetic. This is Cathedral Rock at Red Rock Crossing in Sedona.

Mittens

These two rock formations at Monument Valley always made me think of Road Runner and Coyote cartoons. It's a bit humorous that they've been dubbed 'Mittens', but it doesn't take away from the grandeur that they emote. Seeing them in photos pales in comparison to how majestic they are in person. I did get a great opportunity to see them as the sunset painted them in the rich vibrant oranges while leaving the sky in many shades of blue and purple. Beautiful.

River Reflections

This calm section of the Salt River is just south of Saguaro Lake in Arizona, if I remember correctly. This was shot so long ago that it is on slide film, long before digital cameras were vogue. I imagine this spot is still just as beautiful as it was then, but I don't know if I'd ever be able to capture the lighting just this same way.

Sinew

I was drawn to this arch within the depths of Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona. The way the color swatches and stripes play off of the reflected light from above is magical. There is a softness to the curved edges, but make no mistake this is rock that has been carved by nature.

Colorful Calligraphy

This portal within the slot canyons of Antelope Canyon shows the blue lighting directly from the sky above beyond the proscenium of rock with the orange light reflections. The parallel stripes show the direction of flow and remind me of the artistic flair of writing calligraphy.

Hi, My Name Is Joshua

This Joshua Tree just looks like it wants to give you a hug. These trees remind me of something you might find in a Dr. Seuss book. I stopped along the Joshua Tree Parkway in Arizona on the way home from Las Vegas and my timing was perfect for getting the colors of the setting sun in the background. This stretch of road can be found between Wikenburg and Wikiup!

Spider Rock of Canyon de Chelly

Canyon de Chelly seems to be a hidden gem amongst the southwest wonders of Arizona. It's pronounced Canyon de "shay" by locals. The monumental obelisk in the middle is known as Spider Rock, named after the Native American mythology of the Spider Grandmother who lives at the top of it.
